The Jubilee 30th PTM Seminar

The Jubilee XXX PTM Seminar is one of the leading meetings that help integrate the broadly understood Materials Engineering community in Poland. The Society brings together over thirty scientific and educational centers, research institutes, and laboratories. It serves as a platform for exchanging views on academic promotions, regulations and conditions for conducting research, and the quality of student education in Poland. The Society’s mission is to provide opinions and set new directions for scientific work in the field of Materials Engineering and to apply its results in other strategic areas of activity in the Republic of Poland. The jubilee thirtieth PTM seminar will also be an opportunity to discuss the commercialization of research results, collaboration with industry, and the participation of Polish institutions in European Union programs.

As part of the Jubilee XXX PTM Seminar, a special plenary session is being organized dedicated to issues related to “Inspiration through Science…”, aimed at addressing contemporary challenges in the role of materials engineering and technology, as well as the role of scientists as key architects of socio-economic changes. The broad thematic scope includes topics related to the latest achievements in medicine, specifically neurosurgery, copper extraction and production, dual-use technologies (military-civil), priorities in the development of the national nuclear energy sector, and challenges faced by modern urban centers in leveraging scientific advancements.
