As part of ODIM, we set another Polish Record

We are pleased to announce that on June 13, 2025, the Polish Records Office officially confirmed our joint success: as part of the Third National Materials Science and Engineering Day, a Polish Record was set in the “Most people solving crosswords simultaneously (multiple locations)” category.

The record was broken by 2,273 participants – high school students, university students, and staff from universities and institutes across the country. The event also had a symbolic dimension – it was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the publication of the first Polish crossword in Kurier Warszawski.

The National Materials Science and Engineering Day once again demonstrates that materials science can be a foundation for valuable and unconventional events.
