2024 Edition

The main prize in the PTM competition for the best doctoral thesis in the field of Materials Science for 2022 was awarded to:

PhD Łukasz Pawłowski from Gdansk University of Technology

Title of the dissertation: Intelligent composite coatings for titanium implants

 Thesis supervisor: Professor Andrzej Zieliński

Distinction was given to:

- PhD Adrian Radoń, Silesian University of Technology ( "Shaping the physicochemical properties of magnetite nanoparticles using selected methods of modifying their structure, shape and surface"; supervisor: Professor Rafał Babilas, co-supervisor: PhD Katarzyna Cesarz-Andraczke);

- PhD Adam Skowronek, Silesian University of Technology ( "Improvement of the ductility of high-strength medium-Mn steels through intercritical annealing"; supervisor: Professor Adam Grajcar).
