2015 Edition

The Main Board of the Polish Materials Science Society awarded BEng, PhD Katarzyna Stan-Głowińska from the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow the prize for the best doctoral dissertation in the field of Materials Science for 2014. Title of the thesis: " Preparation and characterization of Al-Mn-Fe base alloys strengthened with quasicrystalline particles".
