2014 Edition

The Main Board of the Polish Materials Science Society awarded BEng, PhD Magdalena Miszczyk from  the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow the prize for the best doctoral dissertation in the field of Materials Science for 2013. Title of the thesis: "Microstructure and texture evolution during annealing of plane strain compressed FCC metals". The doctoral thesis was prepared in cooperation with the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne (France).
